Duress Eagle Body-Worn Camera Policy
At Duress, we are committed to ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of our products throughout their operational life. This policy outlines the support period and update commitments for the Duress Eagle body-worn camera and its associated software components, in line with international cybersecurity standards including ETSI EN 303 645 V2.1.1.
Updateable Components Covered
This policy applies to all updateable components on the Eagle device, including but not limited to:
- Device firmware
- Embedded operating system
- Device-level applications
- Cloud integration agents
- Security certificates and cryptographic libraries
These components receive updates to address security vulnerabilities, system reliability, and product performance.
Defined Support Period
Duress provides security updates, firmware updates, and technical support for Eagle devices as follows:
All updateable components on the Duress Eagle camera are supported for the full duration of a customer’s active service contract with Duress.
This includes access to:
- Over-the-air (OTA) updates for firmware and software
- Security vulnerability patching
- Technical support via our Australian-based support team
- Spare parts and repair services (guaranteed for 4 years from delivery)
If your service contract expires or is not renewed, your device may continue to function in its last updated state, but no further software or security updates will be provided.
Battery and Hardware Support
- The Eagle device includes a replaceable battery, which is covered by a one-year warranty.
- Hardware repair, replacement parts, and accessories are supported for a minimum of four years post-delivery, ensuring continued operation and serviceability.
End-of-Life and Recycling
When your Eagle device reaches end-of-life, Duress will assist in its responsible disposal or recycling in accordance with environmental regulations. Please contact our support team to arrange a return.
Contact and Service Continuity
